Hole 1 A gentle start to the course - a par 5 with a teeing ground overlooking the whole valley. Affords a marvellous view for your first shot; the ball seems to fly on forever. You're in for a great moment if your drive is strong. But watch out, the fairway narrows in the drive zone and the out of bounds to the right is followed by a water hazard, which protect the right of the green. The hole may be straightforward, but that doesn't mean you should take it easy.

Hole 2 This expansive par 4 rises gently towards the forest making it one of the most delicate tee-shots on the course. The main difficulties in store are the tight fairway in the drive zone and a large green protected by two large bunkers. A popular hole that requires technique.

Hole 3 A short par 3 as the crow flies that is made longer by a high, well defended green perched on a clearing surrounded by pines. A deep bunker to the right should be avoided at all costs lest catastrophe strike.

Hole 4 Superb par 4 flanked on the left by a slate quarry. Big hitters may hope to reach the green in one but watch out for the three bunkers surrounding this large undulating green. A good birdie hole.

Hole 5 Long descending par 4 with a fairway that winds along a cliff and drops onto a green nestling in the shade of the forest. Careful not to direct your drive too leftward; this could make your attack of the green tricky due to a series of bunkers on the left that are not always visible as you take your second shot.

Hole 6 A small par 4 with a wide sprawling fairway, flanked by forest on the left. The tee-shot is straightforward but watch out! The perspective makes the large undulating double green seem closer and its lines are difficult to read. The reward for caution is a birdie.

Hole 7 The superb tee-off on this par 4 overlooks a narrow fairway, requiring a good leftward drive, before it dips onto a very fast green. Caution dictates using an iron from the outset to place the ball in play to the left of the fairway for an easier attack of the green. A large terraced bunker to the front and left of the green should pose no real problems. Play left and the slope will do the rest.

Hole 8 The course's second par 3 and feature hole. Take your time enjoying this magnificent hole, which offers the perfect balance between beauty and technique. The teeing ground is at the heart of the course tucked away in a copse, commanding an excellent view of the resort and the Haut Forts range. The green is superbly situated amid three deep bunkers, surrounded by nice gentle rolling terrain. A calm straightforward hole, to all appearances, but one that, like its environment, deserves an excellent tee shot. Pure pleasure!

Hole 9 A huge par 5. Requires three good thwacks at least before rising to a vast green so high up that you'll have to push hard. Take care your heavy legs and thudding heart don't put you off your putting. A monster par 5 with a par that really looks like a birdie.
